I’m Jordan Jones, founder of RareOne SMP Studios in San Antonio, TX. My journey into this craft began in the military, where I first taught myself how to cut hair in the dorms back in 2018. What started as a hustle quickly grew into a passion – one that eventually led me to barber school and then, unexpectedly, to something much bigger.
While studying to become a barber, I discovered scalp micropigmentation (SMP) – and instantly saw the potential. Not only could it set me apart, but I also realized it could truly change lives. Hair loss isn’t just cosmetic – it cuts deep into confidence and identity. I knew I could be the one to help restore both.
I trained under Sam Garcia at Santana & Co. in Seattle – one of the top SMP artists in the industry – and brought that expert knowledge back to Texas to serve my own community with premium results and unmatched attention to detail.
